Jianzhe Lin

Student Researcher

Jianzhe Lin received the Ph.D. degree in department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada in 2020. He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in MultiMedia Lab in UBC from May, 2020 to present and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in VIDA Lab in NYU from Feb, 2021. His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning, especially their applications in video surveillance and remote sensing. Jianzhe has published 20+ papers in top journals and conferences, including CVPR, ACM-MM, IEEE T-NNLS, IEEE T-GRS, IEEE T-CYB, Neurocomputing.

He is a regular reviewer for 20+ distinguished journals. He’s the SPC for IJCAI
2021. He is/was the guest editor of several international journals, such as IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letter, Remote Sensing MDPI, IET Computer Vision, and IET Image Processing.
