Tulio Bittencourt, Monitoring of Structural Integrity of Mixed Concrete-Steel Railway Bridges
Some fundamental concepts of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and its application were presented. The application of these techniques to study the structural integrity of mixed concrete-steel railway bridges is addressed. Some examples were presented to illustrate some possible uses of SHM in different circumstances. A brief description of the equipment used in these studies and some key results were also presented.
