C2SMART Students Display Recent Work at NYU Tandon Research Expo
C2SMART students presented their recent research at the 2018 NYU Tandon Research Expo, including work on sensor technologies and transportation simulation and modeling. The group also met and discussed some of their work with Chandrika Tandon, Chair of the NYU Tandon Board of Overseers.
The students’ presented work included:
- Evacuation modeling
- An interactive destination recommender system
- MATSim modeling of transportation networks
- Connected vehicle modeling using SUMO
- Sensors capturing real-time Bluetooth, WiFi and air quality data
- Double parking impact analysis
