On September 17th, the NYU ITE/ITS Student Chapter held its kickoff meeting for the Fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year. The event started with an introduction of the new Eboard members, an explanation of the club, general functions and resources provided by the ITE society, and targeted recruitment of new members. Professor Jack Bringardner and Professor Joseph Chow gave short speeches welcoming students and talking about the purpose of ITE and the benefits that come with membership. They also recalled the accomplishments of this student chapter over the past year. The meeting concluded with an ice-breaker to introduce every attendee to each other and build a sense of community. This event also recruited members to volunteer at TransportationCamp 2020.
